Ibanez MM1-TAB Martin Miller Signature Electric Guitar

The Ibanez MM1-TAB is a signature electric guitar developed in collaboration with renowned session guitarist Martin Miller. Based on Ibanez's modern AZ design, it is built as a versatile, high-performance instrument suited to professional playing across multiple genres. Its construction and components are selected to meet the specific demands of a working musician, offering reliability, tonal flexibility, and exceptional playability. The guitar features a mahogany body with a flamed maple top, providing a warm, punchy tonal foundation. A key highlight is the roasted maple neck and fretboard, treated using Ibanez's S-TECH process. This roasting enhances stability, durability, and resistance to environmental changes, significantly improving tuning consistency and reducing the need for frequent setups. The neck has a super all-access joint for effortless upper-fret access and is fitted with durable stainless steel jumbo frets. The electronics centre on a set of custom Seymour Duncan Hyperion humbuckers, exclusive to the AZ series, which are wired through a dyna-MIX10 switching system. This provides ten distinct pickup configurations, including humbucking and coil-split single-coil modes, via a mini-switch. Hardware includes a Gotoh T1802 tremolo bridge for stable vibrato performance and Gotoh Magnum-Lock locking machine heads for precise tuning retention. Additional practical features include luminescent side dot inlays for visibility on dark stages and an oil-impregnated bone nut.
