The Pure x McLaren Papaya Edition is a collaborative adult electric scooter designed for private land use, featuring McLaren's distinctive orange racing livery. This model combines urban mobility technology with motorsport-inspired design, offering a unique riding experience with its slimline folding construction and advanced safety features. It is intended for riders aged 16 and over who require reliable personal transport for private property use. Key technical features include a 500W nominal (924W maximum) rear-wheel drive motor that provides strong acceleration and hill-climbing capability on gradients up to 19%. The scooter offers three speed modes with a maximum speed of 15.5mph (25km/h) and an estimated range of up to 38.8 miles (62.4km) from its integrated lithium-ion battery. The patented active steering stabilisation system enhances control by gently returning the handlebars to centre after turns, reducing wobble on uneven surfaces. Safety is prioritised with a 150-lumen front headlight, rear brake and running lights, 180-degree handlebar indicators, footpad indicators, front and rear reflectors, and an integrated bell. The scooter is constructed with an aluminium alloy frame and features 10-inch tubeless puncture-resistant tyres that require 36psi pressure. Its slimline design, achieved through folding footpads and handlebars, makes it approximately 70% slimmer than traditional e-scooters for easier storage and transport. With an IP65 water resistance rating, it can be used in wet conditions. The natural riding position, with feet placed either side of the chassis, provides stability, while the integrated grip design ensures comfortable handling. Weighing 16.2kg with dimensions of 108cm high and 60cm wide, it supports a maximum user weight of 120kg.
