The Sequential Prophet REV2 is a 16-voice polyphonic desktop synthesiser module that delivers the classic Prophet sound in a compact, space-efficient format. Based on the Prophet '08 architecture, it provides professional-grade analogue synthesis capabilities without requiring a full keyboard unit, making it ideal for studio setups where space is at a premium or for musicians who prefer using their own MIDI controllers. The instrument features two digitally controlled analogue oscillators (DCOs) per voice, offering sawtooth, triangle, and pulse waveforms with pulse-width modulation, plus a sub-octave on oscillator one and a white noise generator. Each voice routes through a classic Curtis low-pass filter with selectable 2-pole or 4-pole operation, delivering the warm, resonant character associated with the Prophet series.
