What effects are included?
It includes 62 effect algorithms covering reverb, delay, modulation, pitch shifting, and distortion. This includes 10 new algorithms like Polyphony for chordal pitch shifting, Prism Shift for arpeggios, Head Space tape delay, and Wormhole modulated reverb, plus enhanced classics from the H9 Max and legendary rack units like the SP2016 Reverb.
Can it run two effects at once?
Yes, the dual-engine design allows you to combine two algorithms into a single Program. They can be routed in series or parallel, and feature true spillover when switching between Programs.
What is the polyphonic pitch shifting like?
It uses Eventide's SIFT technology for fast, warble-free polyphonic pitch shifting that can handle full chords accurately. This is a significant advancement over traditional monophonic pitch shifters.
What connections does it have?
It has 4 x 1/4" inputs, 4 x 1/4" outputs, 2 x 1/4" expression pedal inputs, a USB Type-C port for connection to a computer, and MIDI connectivity. This allows for stereo processing, dual mono operation, and integration with complex setups.
Is there editing software?
Yes, it is compatible with the H90 Control Software for macOS 10.13+ and Windows 10+, allowing for deep editing, preset management, and firmware updates from a computer.
What power supply does it need?
It requires a 12V DC centre-negative power supply (included), drawing 600mA at 12V. It can also operate at 9V, where it draws 800mA. It is not designed for standard 9V pedalboard supplies.
How many presets can it store?
It can store 99 onboard presets. These can be organised and managed via the pedal's interface or the companion computer software.
