What is the maximum loop recording time?
The built-in looper provides up to 240 seconds (4 minutes) of recording time. This can be extended to several hours by inserting an optional microSD card into the dedicated slot on the pedal.
Does it have MIDI connectivity?
Yes, it features standard 5-pin MIDI In and MIDI Out/Thru DIN connectors. It can receive Program Change and Control Change messages, and supports storage and recall of 128 presets via MIDI.
Can I use a microphone with this pedal?
Yes, there is a dedicated XLR input designed for use with a dynamic microphone. This allows you to process vocals with the delay effects or record vocal loops using the built-in looper.
What power supply does it require?
The DL4 MKII requires a standard 9V DC centre-negative power supply. It is not powered by batteries. The current draw is typically higher than a basic pedal due to its processing power, so ensure your power supply can provide sufficient current (check the manual for exact specifications).
What bypass modes are available?
The pedal offers three selectable bypass modes: true bypass, buffered bypass, and DSP bypass. This allows you to choose the best option to preserve your guitar's tone or maintain signal integrity in different pedalboard configurations.
Is an expression pedal included?
No, an expression pedal is not included with the DL4 MKII. However, it has a dedicated input jack for connecting an optional expression pedal (or two additional footswitches) to control parameters like delay time or feedback in real-time.
How many presets can be stored and how are they accessed?
The pedal can store 128 presets which are accessible via MIDI commands. Using the onboard footswitches, you can directly control up to six of these presets. For full access to all 128 presets, you need to use an external MIDI controller or sequencer.
