The Elica NikolaTesla Prime is an innovative induction venting hob that integrates a powerful extraction system directly into the cooking surface. This 83cm wide unit combines four induction cooking zones with a built-in recirculation hood, eliminating the need for a separate overhead extractor. The system works by drawing steam, odours, and grease downwards through the hob surface, where they are filtered before clean air is recirculated back into the kitchen. This design is particularly suitable for kitchens where installing traditional ducting to the outside is impractical or impossible. Key features include the Pot Detector function, which automatically activates cooking zones when compatible pans are placed on them and alerts users to inactive zones to prevent energy waste. The Stop & Go function allows all cooking zones to be paused safely with a single touch, resuming exactly at their previous settings when ready.
