The Ticket to Ride: Europe 1912 Expansion is an official add-on designed to enhance and extend gameplay for the popular Ticket to Ride: Europe board game. This expansion pack introduces substantial new content and mechanics that refresh the original game experience, offering seasoned players deeper strategic options and increased replayability. It requires the base Ticket to Ride: Europe game to play, building upon its established railway-building premise across a map of early 20th-century Europe. The core addition is a comprehensive set of 101 destination tickets, comprising the original 46 routes plus 55 new ones. These enable three distinct new variants: 'Europe Expanded', which adds 19 new routes to the original map; 'Big Cities of Europe', focusing on tickets connecting nine major European metropolises; and 'Mega Europe', which combines all new and original tickets for the most complex challenge. A significant new strategic layer is introduced with the Warehouses & Depots module. This includes wooden train depot pieces and new rules where players place depots on cities. Throughout the game, a central warehouse accumulates train cards, and players who successfully connect routes to their depots can claim these cards, adding a layer of tactical timing and resource denial.
