What is included in the box?
The box contains 10 multi-part plastic Gretchin models, 1 multi-part plastic Ork Runtherd model, 12 Gretchin head variants, and 2 Runtherd head variants. All components are supplied on sprues and require assembly.
Are the models pre-assembled or pre-painted?
No, the models are supplied unassembled and unpainted. They need to be clipped from the plastic sprues, assembled using plastic glue or similar, and then painted.
What scale are these miniatures?
They are in the standard Warhammer 40,000 scale, which is approximately 28mm scale from foot to eye level. They are compatible in size with other Warhammer 40,000 Ork models.
What type of plastic are the models made from?
The models are made from Games Workshop's high-density polystyrene plastic, which is standard for their multi-part kits. It is durable when assembled and takes acrylic paint well.
Do I need any special tools to assemble them?
You will need clippers or a hobby knife to remove parts from the sprues, and plastic cement or super glue for assembly. A file or mould line remover is also recommended for cleaning up the parts before gluing.
Can the poses be customised?
Yes, the multi-part nature of the kit and the multiple head variants allow for a degree of customisation in the posing and appearance of your Gretchin mob, helping to create a varied unit.
What is a Runtherd?
A Runtherd is an Ork tasked with herding and disciplining Gretchin mobs. In the game, this model acts as the unit leader for the Gretchin, providing a unique character model within the unit.
