What is included in the box?
The box contains one multi-part plastic Venerable Dreadnought model kit with 84 components. This includes weapon options (plasma cannon, assault cannon, twin-linked lascannon, heavy flamer, storm bolter), two power fists, smoke launchers, multiple helmets, leg guards, sarcophagus plates, purity seals, pennants, and various Imperial icons.
Does the model require assembly and painting?
Yes, this is an unassembled and unpainted plastic model kit. You will need to cut the parts from the sprue, assemble them with plastic glue, and then paint it using suitable miniature paints. Tools and paints are not included.
What scale is the model?
Warhammer 40,000 models are typically in 28mm scale, which is a heroic scale where details are slightly exaggerated for tabletop visibility. The Dreadnought stands significantly taller than a standard Space Marine infantry model.
Is glue required for assembly?
Yes, plastic cement or polystyrene cement is recommended for assembling the plastic components. Super glue can also be used, but plastic cement creates a stronger bond by welding the plastic.
Can I build all the weapon options at once?
No, the kit allows you to build one configuration of the Dreadnought at a time. You must choose which weapons to attach during assembly. The spare parts can be saved for customising other models or for magnetising.
Is this model suitable for beginners?
It is an intermediate-level kit due to the number of parts and the detail involved. Beginners may find it challenging but rewarding. Having some experience with assembling smaller miniatures first is advisable.
What game systems is this model used for?
This is primarily a miniature for the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop wargame. It can also be used in related games like Kill Team or for display and collecting purposes within the Warhammer hobby.
