How many models does this kit build?
The kit builds a total of eight vehicle models: four Whirlwind missile tanks and four Scorpius missile tanks.
What is included in the box?
The box contains 120 plastic components for building the models, plus one Legion Vehicle Transfer Sheet with 1130 waterslide transfers for applying markings. The models are supplied unpainted and unassembled.
Can the models be customised?
Yes. Up to four of the missile tanks can be equipped with an optional dozer blade. The Scorpius missile launchers can also be assembled at different angles. The extensive transfer sheet allows for further personalisation of legion markings.
What scale or game system are these models for?
These models are designed for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Legions Imperialis, which is a tabletop wargame set in a smaller scale (often referred to as 8mm or epic scale) compared to the main Warhammer 40,000 game.
What is the difference between a Whirlwind and a Scorpius?
In the game's lore and rules, the Whirlwind is optimised for anti-infantry barrages, ideal for flushing troops out of cover. The Scorpius is a later pattern, developed to excel at destroying armoured vehicles, Knights, and Titans with its powerful missile volleys.
Do I need glue and paint to complete these models?
Yes. The kit contains multipart plastic components that require assembly with plastic cement or polystyrene glue. The models are supplied unpainted, so acrylic paints, brushes, and potentially a primer are needed to finish them.
What is the material of the components?
All model components are made from high-quality, grey-coloured polystyrene plastic, which is standard for Games Workshop kits.
