How many models does this kit build?
The kit builds 20 Space Marine Legionaries, which can be fielded as a single 20-model squad or two 10-model squads in Warhammer: The Horus Heresy games.
What weapons are included in the kit?
Each model comes with a Tigrus-pattern bolter and bolt pistol. The kit includes components for plasma guns, melta guns, flamers, heavy bolters, missile launchers, plasma pistols, chainswords, power swords, power fists, lightning claws, and combi-weapons with flamer, melta, or plasma configurations for Sergeants.
What bases are included?
The kit includes 20 Citadel 32mm round bases for the models.
Does the kit include Legion-specific markings?
The plastic models have no pre-applied Legion markings, allowing you to paint them as any Legion. However, a transfer sheet with 339 optional markings and iconography for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions is included.
What rulebooks are needed to use these models?
You will need the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Age of Darkness Rulebook and either the Liber Astartes: Loyalist Legiones Astartes Army Book or Liber Hereticus: Traitor Legiones Astartes Army Book to use these models in games.
Can the special weapons be used in a standard Tactical Squad?
No, the plasma guns, melta guns, flamers, heavy bolters, and missile launchers are not valid for a standard Legion Tactical Squad according to the rules. They can be used to create Legion Veteran Squads, reinforce Tactical Support or Heavy Support Squads, or build Tactical Squads for Warhammer 40,000 games.
